I was reading up on some blogs I follow and realize it's been almost 1 year since I posted anything. I guess Facebook makes it easy to forget I once religously updated this blog site. Maybe it's because things have been going well, and sometimes I would only blog when something has seemed dark and it was a way to express my feelings.
However there are times I should blog the good stuff too. I went to my first Professional Football game on Christmas Eve. Missing Christmas Eve with the family was rough, but that game was awesome. We hosted a wedding at the house in April - there's a first time for everything. I traveled to St. Louis for the first time ever, it was a nice city.
I did get a new car in September... That being said, it was really hard to part with my Jeep. She had been with me longer than Dave had! I parked her in the yard and finally decided it was time to say bye in February. YEP, it took me 6 months to clean her out and put a sign in the window. I loved that car, but the convertible made it less painful to watch her drive away. She went to a good home and that is all that matters.
Dave has finally found a job he really likes. The people are good people and there's not any drama. Yep, hard to believe that there can be drama in a shop full of men, but it is almost as bad as working with women!!
We are planning a Memorial Day road trip to Louisiana! Yeah me!!! Can't wait to get ot the casino again. Ran through one in St. Louis, but it wasn't the same.
All in all, you're caught up. I will try ot think of something inspiring soon.
